CVP Properties was born from personal experience. Camilo and Amanda didn’t set out to build an agency — they set out to solve a problem they had both lived through: what it means to arrive somewhere new, fall in love with a place, and try to put down roots without a map. That place was Sotogrande. And that experience became the foundation of everything CVP stands for today.
Camilo arrived in Sotogrande around 15 years ago, bringing with him decades of hands-on property experience from Sevilla and Madrid — where he had built and run businesses spanning full property renovations and specialist wood treatment. He understood buildings from the inside out, literally. When he arrived in Sotogrande, he began putting that knowledge to work for others: helping newcomers navigate the area, understand the local market and settle in with confidence.
Amanda’s journey to Sotogrande
Amanda’s path was different, but the destination was the same. Nearly 20 years ago, she packed a suitcase and moved to Spain — arriving with little more than determination and a willingness to start over. She built her career from the ground up in the Spanish real estate industry, learning the market, the culture and the art of guiding people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
When Camilo and Amanda met, they recognised something in each other. The same drive. The same empathy for people navigating unfamiliar territory. The same belief that buying or selling property abroad shouldn’t feel like a leap of faith. Together, they founded CVP Properties.

Amanda found tenants for us for in August last year. Not difficult you would say given its high season but this was a very last minute decision. Tenants were found, contract signed and deposit paid within 3 days. She was always on hand to deal with any problems the tenants had leaving us free from any issues.

Over the years, Camilo has come to our rescue many times in providing excellent professional services. In particular, we were experiencing a lot of black spots on the walls. He provided a team that redecorated our apartment with specialist materials and 4+ years later the black spots have never reappeared.

Upon arriving in Sotogrande, he combined all of his knowledge and experience to help newcomers successfully settle into the area — and CVP Properties grew from those early conversations.

Arriving completely new to the country, she built her career from the ground up in the Spanish real estate industry — learning the market, the culture and the art of guiding people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. When she and Camilo met, they combined their knowledge and expertise to help other international buyers and sellers navigate the same challenges they once faced.
